XENOS-19

The coronavirus pandemic, which was first reported in China, has led to increased prejudice, xenophobia, discrimination, violence and racism against Chinese people and people of Asian descent and appearance around the world. As a Chinese student study in US, I am experiencing the racism and this unfair treatment as well. I created this project to use my own experiences to remind all Asians to portect ourselves and speak for ourselves.

The mask can be pulled open. The outside contents of the mask include my experience and what I have seen and heard. After opening the mask, the inside contents are my mood and thoughts.
